Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to direct a business not to sell or share their personal information. Mac Repair for Business LLC does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run advertising networks on this website, we do not embed third-party tracking, and we do not disclose business contact details to data brokers or advertising platforms.
Why we still publish this page
Even though we do not sell or share personal information, the right is important and we want to be straightforward about it. Rather than stay silent and leave the question open, we state our position plainly, describe how the right can be exercised, and explain how we verify a request.
What we collect and why
Our collection is limited to what we need to serve business accounts: business contact details, service and custody records relating to the devices we handle, and commercial information such as purchase order references and invoice details. This information is used to respond to enquiries, deliver services, and keep accurate accounts. Our Privacy Policy describes this in fuller detail.
How to submit a request
You may request that we do not sell or share your personal information, and you may exercise the related rights to know, delete, and correct. If you contact us by email, please include enough detail for us to identify the relevant business account.
Verification and authorized representatives
To protect the information we hold, we may need to verify that a request comes from the person it concerns or from someone authorized to act for them. Verification will be proportionate to the sensitivity of the information involved. An authorized representative may submit a request on behalf of a California resident; we may ask for evidence of that authority before acting.
No discrimination
We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because a person has exercised a privacy right. Where a request limits what we can hold, we will explain any practical effect on a service relationship rather than apply a penalty.
Response times
We aim to confirm receipt of a request promptly and to respond substantively within the periods required by applicable law. If we need more time, we will tell you why and how long we expect to need.
